It is quite minimalistic, but for a good price (during Olympics).

+ The breakfast was delicious + friendly staff (good intentions at least), + could store my bag after check-out.

- The bathroom was quite minimalistic, combining toilet and shower didnt always look to hygenic - It was quite difficult to find at first, it didnt have a sign with the name, instead it was directed as 'Guest house'

Food is nice and delicious. Staff is caring and give me free ride to the Olympic parks every day.

Overcharged. The price is almost 3 times high as normal price. Location is convenient but not easy to find at first visit.

We only stayed for one night and the owners were super...

We only stayed for one night and the owners were super nice—we did not speak Korean so they were super patient and understanding with us. The owners also made us a warm delicious breakfast and helped us watch our luggage for after the day we checked out. We came from America to see the Olympic Games and needed to travel a lot by taxi. Though it was difficult to hail a taxi, the owners personally DROVE us where we needed to go about 5-10 min away and would NOT accept any tips. I am immensely grateful to have booked my first night in Korea with such wonderful hosts. Please do yourself a favor and stay with these lovely people.

Great location, roomy capsules and wonderful service

The owner was so warm to me as a solo traveler. He invited myself and others to come drink and talk with him, and was patient even though my Korean is not so good. He and his wife really like for his guests to not feel lonely, which is extra nice. The facility itself is tucked in behind the Caspucci Coffee so don't miss it! It's 1 minute walking from the beach which was AMAZING. As for the room, the capsule is actually quite roomy! It's the best capsule I've been in! I had enough room for the bed AND to also put my medium sized suitcase next to my bed without it even taking up bed space. It's such a great location. I'd totally stay here again. They also have breakfast in the morning and the owner's wife sent me off with a sandwich when I checked out.

Breakfast was freshly fried egg, toast with butter or jelly, and coffee. There was a friendly dog outside. On my last day, the owner called a taxi for me.

Right next to the beach

The host is soooo nice! Excellent location, right in front of the beaches at the East coast. But not many bus can reach here, need to go to Gangneung first if you want to go to other spots.

Good facilities lacking some human approach

The isolated bunk beds were good, spacious and comfortable.

The staff did not seem friendly or nice. Neither were they rude. Also, we were very unlucky to stay with 4 Korean males, who did not have any common sense of noise and other guests' comfort. Extremely noisy

Beach bum heaven.

This capsule hotel was great. It was so close to a great beach. It was the perfect location for walking the beaches any time I wanted. The bed was comfy. My hosts were very nice and made me feel very at home. They have the cutest puppy too.

Public transportation is not the best. You will need to use taxi to get around.

Location was by far the best feature of this hostel.

Location was by far the best feature of this hostel. It's RIGHT next to the beach. You step outside, cross the road, and you're at the beach.

The actual accommodation is very small (expected of a capsule hostel, so I'm not complaining). If you're claustrophobic, it's probably better to go somewhere else. I shared a bathroom with 5 other people in that small space and some people left the floor really dirty after using it. It was okay for one night. I probably wouldn't stay for longer. Also, the walls seem to have absolutely no sound proof. They were partying outside for hours late at night and I could hear everything, not to mention the door beeping loudly whenever someone had to come in and out. If you're a light sleeper, probably not the best place to go.

19년 3월 강원도 여행중 2일차 강문해변 숙소 위치 최고

해변 접근성 짱이고 사장님 엄청 칠절하시고, 혼자 또는 친구들끼리 여행 숙소로 추천합니다. 저녁 삼겹살 파티 강추구요. 저녁 식사 따로 필요 없습니다. 조식도 간단하지만 든든합니다.

아쉬운 점을 일부러 찾으면 6인실 하나당 샤워장이 하나여서 아침에 인원이 몰리면 사용하기 어려울수도...? 그러나 이가격이면 뭐 용납이 되죠.^^

아침식사 샌드위치랑 주스였는데요.. 날씨가 추워서 따듯한거 먹고 싶었는데 냉장고에 있던 샌드위치는 차갑고 밖에 나와있던 주스는 미지근하구요

셋이서 4인실 사용했는데, 큰 불편함 없이 지낼수 있어서 좋았어요!!

전기장판이 창문있는 쪽에 하나밖에없어서 다른 침대에서 자는 사람들은 밤에 조금 추웠어요 그리고 방음이 잘 안돼서 밖에서 폭죽놀이 하는 소리도 다 들려가지고 주무시는데 예민하신 분들은 이어플러그 있으면 좋을 것 같습니다.

좋은 사람들을 많이 만날 수 있었던 점! 숙소 바로 앞에 강문해변이 있다는 점! 주변의 편의 시설이 많은 점!

주차장이 숙소전용이 아니라 공용주차장이라 주차가 불편했고 들어가는 입구가 좁았다

숙소의 위치(바로 앞 해변과 편의점)가 베스트이고 사장님의 친절함이 좋았습니다. 강아지가 귀여워요. 수건도 한장 서비스로 제공되어 편리합니다.

불법 주정차들로 인해 숙소 입구를 찾기 조금 어려웠습니다. 컨테이너로된 건물로 내부 소음에 취약합니다. 하지만 저렴한 가격은 모든것을 이해하게 만들어 줍니다.

침구상태도 청결, 룸이랑 욕실 상태도

침구상태도 청결, 룸이랑 욕실 상태도 좋았어요. 저희 일행이 네명이었는데 사장님이 저희들끼리 쓸수 있도록 배려해주셨어요. 강문해변과 가까워서 밤바다 구경도 좋아요. 조식 샌드위치와 커피 정말 맛있었어요.

조립식이다 보니 소리가 조금 울렸어요. 취침에는 지장없구요.

바다를 맘껏 보고싶다면!

캡슐로 되어있어서 편했어요 스크롤을 내리면 나 혼자만의 공간이 되어 좋았습니다 위치는 바다를 마음껏 볼수있어요 주변에 맛집도 있구요

1층과 2층 모두 이용했는데 컨테이너라서 그런지 소음은 좀 커요 특히 저녁마다 파티가 있기때문에 금토 저녁은 시끄러워요

방음이 잘 되진 않았지만 숙소 내에 방음에 대한 부분이 공지가 되어 있어서 조심하게 됨 숙소주인분이 정말 친절하고 바로 바다 앞 숙소라 접근성 좋음 생각보다 따듯함 개인공간이 확보되어서 좋음
