Located an 8-minute drive from 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium, Ocean Capsule Guesthouse is situated 140 metres away from Gangmun Beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site.

All rooms come with a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. For your comfort, you will find slippers and free toiletries.

You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property.

A number of activities are offered in the area, such as snorkelling and fishing. The guesthouse also offers bike hire. Gangneung Seongyojang is 3 km from Ocean Capsule Hotel.

It is quite minimalistic, but for a good price (during Olympics).
+ The breakfast was delicious + friendly staff (good intentions at least), + could store my bag after check-out.
- The bathroom was quite minimalistic, combining toilet and shower didnt always look to hygenic - It was quite difficult to find at first, it didnt have a sign with the name, instead it was directed as 'Guest house'

Food is nice and delicious.
Food is nice and delicious. Staff is caring and give me free ride to the Olympic parks every day.
Overcharged. The price is almost 3 times high as normal price. Location is convenient but not easy to find at first visit.

We only stayed for one night and the owners were super...
We only stayed for one night and the owners were super nice—we did not speak Korean so they were super patient and understanding with us. The owners also made us a warm delicious breakfast and helped us watch our luggage for after the day we checked out. We came from America to see the Olympic Games and needed to travel a lot by taxi. Though it was difficult to hail a taxi, the owners personally DROVE us where we needed to go about 5-10 min away and would NOT accept any tips. I am immensely grateful to have booked my first night in Korea with such wonderful hosts. Please do yourself a favor and stay with these lovely people.

Great location, roomy capsules and wonderful service
The owner was so warm to me as a solo traveler. He invited myself and others to come drink and talk with him, and was patient even though my Korean is not so good. He and his wife really like for his guests to not feel lonely, which is extra nice. The facility itself is tucked in behind the Caspucci Coffee so don't miss it! It's 1 minute walking from the beach which was AMAZING. As for the room, the capsule is actually quite roomy! It's the best capsule I've been in! I had enough room for the bed AND to also put my medium sized suitcase next to my bed without it even taking up bed space. It's such a great location. I'd totally stay here again. They also have breakfast in the morning and the owner's wife sent me off with a sandwich when I checked out.
